- What is the difference between sending a message and a nudge?

Q. What is the difference between sending a message and a nudge?
The difference is that messages are longer and more personal, and you can only send them to people in your friends list. A nudge is an unintrusive way of saying hi or just reminding someone that you're there and you can send a nudge to any member.
Also, a nudge doesn't just have to be a nudge, you can also send other things. Click on the drop down menu to see a list of things you can send. Why not try sending someone a nudge? You might make a new friend.
Q. Can I send a message to anyone?
You must add a person to your friends list (and they must accept) before you can send them a message. You can send anyone a nudge.
Q. After I have read my messages, it still shows that I have a message.
After you have read your messages and either saved or deleted them, click on Return to Messages and it will show that you have no more messages.
Q. I keep getting notification emails that I have messages, but they're the same messages that I already had.
When you get a Notification email to alert you that you have messages, you have to "action" those messages. Either Save them or Delete them or Reply to them. As long as you have the yellow box telling you that you have messages, you will keep receiving daily email notifications. Go to Read message and on the top it will give you choices to Save, Delete, Reply.
Once you have cleared your messages and the Message box is no longer yellow, you will not keep receiving an email notification for the same messages. You will however, receive notification for a new message.
Q. I can only see a Nudge, but people are sending me other things. Where are they?
Next to the Nudge, there is a little blue arrow, click on that and a drop down menu will appear with a list of different types of "nudges". Click on the one you want and send it.
Q. I don't want to receive an email every time I get a new message or Nudge.
Go to Update Account Details in red on the left hand side. Scroll down to Change Email Subscription - Would you like to receive a once-a-day notification of new messages or requests? Click on the No button.
